JOEL YPMA, CPA / SENIOR MANAGER

Joel graduated from both Michigan State University and Grand Valley State University.  He is a certified public accountant in the State of Michigan with over 15 years of public accounting experience.  Joel was born in Grand Rapids and currently resides in Grandville.  His experience includes specializing in a variety of federal income tax issues for small, medium and large clients spanning a wide range of industries.  This includes inventory (UNICAP, LIFO/FIFO); depreciation and other timing differences; and methods of tax accounting.  Joel joined DCA in 2019.  When he is at home, Joel enjoys working out, spending time with his two daughters, playing guitar, and tinkering around on a variety of hobbies.
