JACKIE ORTIZ, CPA / MANAGER

Jackie grew up near Flint, MI, and graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Accounting.  She previously worked in Public Accounting as an auditor for 8 years specializing in not-for-profit clients.  Jackie joined Dan Carter Advisors in early 2019 after being a Stay-At-Home Mom to her two kids for many years.  Jackie specializes in non-profit clients, accounting, bookkeeping and 1040 Preparation.  Jackie lives in the Ada area with her husband, Ed.  Both her children, Eddie and Julia majored in accounting at Michigan State University!  In her spare time Jackie enjoys spending quality time entertaining and cooking for family and friends.  She also enjoys staying active with a Spin or Barre Class.
