DAN ROOT / SMALL BUSINESS ACCOUNTING

Dan grew up in the greater Grand Rapids area, graduating from Unity Christian High School.  He took accounting classes at Davenport where he earned his Certificate of Credit Administration.  He has extensive accounting and bookkeeping experience dating back to 1971.  Dan has been part of the Lucerne Accounting/Dan Carter Advisors staff since 2010. Dan is adept in small business tax and accounting.  He specializes in QuickBooks, with an emphasis on financial statements, payroll and real estate/construction related accounting.  Dan lives in Caledonia with Pam, his wife of 50+ years. Together they have 5 married children, and 14+ grandchildren! Dan is an Army veteran, active in his Church, and a former board member of Beacon of Hope, a nonprofit, no fee counseling service. Dan enjoys attending his grandkids’ school and sporting activities, doing remodeling and handy man projects, and supporting Pam as owner of a home décor and consulting store, Beyond the Door.
